Each year, the MSP 501 recognizes some of the biggest and most successful managed service providers (MSPs) in the world. It’s the most comprehensive ranking of leading managed service providers and is presented each year by Channel Futures.

What Is Channel Futures?

Channel Futures unites the diverse ecosystem of companies that comprise the “new channel,” which includes managed service providers, systems integrators, born-in-the-cloud services companies, specialized service providers, consultants, Value Added Resellers (VARs) and other organizations that operate outside of the traditional information and telecommunications technology (ICT) channel.

How Were MSPs Ranked?

The MSP 501 ranking is important because it identifies the world’s most forward-thinking IT Managed Service Providers who follow the leading trends in technology, and Boston HelpDesk is honored to be one of them.

The MSP 501 list recognizes top Managed Service Providers based on metrics, including recurring revenue, growth, and other factors. MSPs were ranked according to their unique methodology, which acknowledges that not all revenue streams are created equal. They weighted revenue figures according to how well the applicant’s business strategy anticipates trends in the fast-evolving channel ecosystem.
